Banana cake (kek pisang abu)


Pisang abu stok dari kampung ada 2 sikat....dah nak hitam. Sebelum rosak lebih baik dibuat sesuatu. Saya buat 2 biji kek menggunakan 2 resepi yang berbeza. Resepi yang ini saya rujuk dari Taste.com. Untuk yang ini saya buat 4 bancuhan. Tabur dengan bijan sebab malas nak selongkar cari choc rice....

Banana cake

Ingredient

1 cup self-raising flour (saya guna 1 cawan tepung gandum + 1/2 sk baking powder + 1/2  sk baking soda)

1 cup caster sugar (saya guna 3/4 cawan sahaja - boleh kurangkam lagi jadi 1/2 sbb masih manis keknya)

50g butter, melted

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1/4 cup (60ml) milk (saya tambah 1/2 sk cuka)

1/2 cup mashed banana

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Spray a 7cm-deep, 10 x 20cm (base measurement) loaf pan with oil. Line base and sides with baking paper, extending 3cm above rim.

Step 2

Sift flour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Make a well in the centre. Add butter, egg, vanilla, milk and banana. Stir until just combined.

Step 3

Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into centre comes out clean. Set aside in pan for 10 minutes to cool slightly. Serve warm or transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
