Famous amos chocolate chip cookies

Anak2 dok sibuk minta buatkan biskut....ummi dua tiga hari ni badan tak berapa nak sedap. Tapi dah banyak request tak sampai hati pulak tak buatkan. Google2 jumpa ka resepi choc chip yg sempoi dari yatiememories. Berkenan pulak nak cuba.

Hasilnya ok sgt. Utk walnut saya gantikan dengan almond flake. Walnut ada tapi nak guna untuk buat kek karot yg ditempah member opis.

Resepi asal guna cream of tartar. Cream of tartar tu saya tak letak sebab benda tu hasil sampingan pembuatan wain. Saya ganti dengan baking powder seperti maklumat kat bawah tu....

Bahan²
1 cawan gula kastor/halus-Yatie guna 1/2 cwn je
1 cawan gula perang
1 cawan mentega
1 cawan minyak
1 biji telur
1 sudu besar susu segar
4 cawan tepung gandum
secubit garam
1 sudu kecil baking powder
1 sudu kecil baking soda
1/2 cawan walnut cincang (saya ganti dengan 250gm almond flake)
2 cawan semisweet chocolate chip
1 sudu kecil esen vanila

Cara²

Pukul gula, mentega, minyak, telur, susu dan vanila hingga sebati guna whisk jer pun boleh. .Masukkan tepung gandum, garam soda bikarbonat, walnut dan coklat chip

Adunan memang lembik...sudukan satu sudu kecil diatas dulang pembakar...jarak²kan sket sebab nanti kukis akan mengembang sket....dulang tak perlu gris..

Cream of Tartar Substitute

By Erin Huffstetler, About.com Guide

Cream of tartar is the powdered form of tartaric acid, a substance that forms at the bottom of barrels when making wine.

It is added to recipes for three reasons:to stabilize egg whites (when whipping them for meringue)to act as a leavening agent in cookies and other baked goods (when used in conjunction with baking soda)to make frosting and icing creamy (it prevents the sugar from crystallizing)

Cream of Tartar Substitutes

If you don't have any cream of tartar in your pantry, you can use one of these substitutes in its place:For beating egg whites - use an equal amount of white vinegar or lemon juice, or omit the cream of tartar entirely

As a leavening agent - replace the baking soda and the cream of tartar in the recipe with baking powder. One teaspoon of baking powder replaces 1/3 tsp of baking soda and 2/3 tsp cream of tartar

For frosting - leave the cream of tartar out. No substitution is necessary
