Basic cinnamon apple muffins



Sempat bakar muffin petang ni. Saya cuba resepi Basic cinnamon apple muffins daripada www.taste.com.au. Sedap. Anak2 pun suka. Manisnya sedang2 jer. Gebu walaupun permukaannnya nampak macam keras. Bila bedah pastu ngap....lembut jer sebenarnya. Meriah dengan apple cincang dan kismis. Bau kulit kayu manis tu semerbak memenuhi ruangan dapur sampai ke ruang tamu....

Jom la baking....cepat masa mengadunnya...guna sudu jer....kalau oven besar sekali gus boleh bakar satu adunan tu...

Basic cinnamon apple muffins

300g (2 cups) plain flour (2 cawan tepung gandum)

1 tablespoon baking powder (1 sb baking powder)
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (2 sk serbuk kayu manis)
2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed (2/3 cawan gula perang)
2 medium (about 375g) Granny Smith apples,  cored, peeled, chopped (2 biji apple hijau sederhana, kupas, dan cincang)
125g (3/4 cup) raisins (3/4 cawan kismis)
125g butter, melted, cooled (125 gm.mentega - cair dan sejukkan)
2 eggs, lightly whisked (2 biji telur, pukul sebati)
180ml (3/4 cup) milk (3/4 cawan susu segar)
Melted butter (optional), for greasing (Mentrga cair untuk menggris)




Step 1
Preheat oven to 200C or 180C fan-forced. Prepare your ingredients. You will need 12 medium (125ml/ 1/2 cup) muffin pans. They are available in trays of either 6 or 12. Non-stick muffin pans are wonderful to use as they don't need greasing. If you aren't using non-stick pans, brush the pans with the melted butter or margarine to lightly grease. Alternatively, line the pans with paper muffin cases.

Panaskan oven 180 celcius. Sediakan loyang muffin yang dioles mentega atau papercup.

Step 2
Sift the plain flour, baking powder and cinnamon together into a large bowl. The baking powder acts as a raising agent and will help give the muffins a light texture. Stir in the brown sugar, apples and raisins until well combined.

Ayak tepung, serbuk penaik dan serbuk kayu manis dalam mangkuk besar. Masukkan gula perang, apple dan kismis, kacau sebati.



Step 3
Whisk together the butter or margarine, eggs and milk until well combined. Blending the wet ingredients before adding them to the flour mixture makes it easier to evenly combine the two.

Kacau sebati mentega, telur dan susu.


Step 4
Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture and stir with a large metal spoon until just combined. It is important that the ingredients are only just combined. If the mixture is over-mixed, the cooked muffins will have a tough texture.

Tuangkan adunan telur ke dalam mangkuk tepung dan gaul dengan sudu hingga sebati. Jangan gaul terlalu lama kerana muffin akan jadi keras.

Step 5
Spoon the mixture evenly into the muffin pans.

Sudukan adunan muffin ke dalam tray muffin atau papercup.

Step 6
Bake the muffins in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden and cooked through. To test if they are cooked, insert a skewer into the centre of one - if it comes out clean, it is ready If not, cook for a little longer before testing again. When cooked, remove from oven and stand for 2-3 minutes before turning onto a wire rack. Letting them stand makes them easier to remove from the pans. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 day.

Bakar hingga keperangan lebih kurang 20 minit.
