Corn fritters aka cucur/jemput2 jagung

Resepi ni saya cilok dari allrecipes.com. Suka anak2 saya.......dulu2 kat kampung selalu gak buat tapi takde ler letak jagung banyak sangat dan telur, susu, shorterning berbagai.....biasa letak garam, gula, tepung, air n jagung jer....


Ingredients 

3 cups oil for frying (minyak untuk menggoreng

1 cup sifted all-purpose flour (1 cawan tepung gandum)

1 teaspoon baking powder (1 sk serbuk penaik)

1/2 teaspoon salt (1/2 sk garam)

1/4 teaspoon white sugar (saya letak 3 sb gula)

1 egg, lightly beaten (1 biji telur - pukul skit)

1/2 cup milk ( 1/2 cawan susu - guna air biasa pun ok jer)

1 tablespoon shortening, melted (1 sb lemak sayuran - cairkan)

1 (12 ounce) canwhole kernel corn, drained ( saya guna 2 tongkol jagung manis segar dari ladang.....hehehe)

Directions

Heat oil in a heavy pot or deep fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C).In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Beat together egg, milk, and melted shortening; stir into flour mixture. Mix in the corn kernels.Drop fritter batter by spoonfuls into the hot oil, and fry until golden. Drain on paper towels.

Campur semua bahan kecuali minyak untuk menggoreng tu jer. Adun sebati. Goreng hingga keperangan.
