Mint sauce

Saya cuba buat mint sauce ni utk majlis raya kat sini. Buat sikit jer pun sebab mintnya ada sikit. Ramainya suka. Hubby kata ada yang siap hirup pakai sudu yg tak tahan tu. Saya dah cincang2 masukkan dalam cuka n gula tadi pastu saya blend sos tu dua tiga saat.
Resepi ni saya lups pulak sumbernya....tapi oberse punya blog la....nanti cari balik n saya update kat sini. Yg ni saya dah ejas sikit2.
Ingredients:
2 cups good quality white vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 cup finely chopped fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup water
Preparation:
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the sugar, water and vinegar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then lower to a simmerand cook until the liquid has reduced by half, around 10 to 12 minutes.
It should have a thick, syrupy consistency.Turn off the heat and let the sauce cool for five minutes before adding the mint leaves. Give it a stir and then pour into a bowl. You can cover the bowl with plastic wrap and just let it sit for about an hour.
During this time, the flavor of the mint will be infusing the sauce, like steeping a cup of tea.Serve at room temperature.Makes about 1 1/2 cup of Mint Sauce.
