Banana Chocolate Cake

Resepi cnp dari potret kasih...potret kasih amik dari joy of baking...nanti dikesempatan lain saya terjemahkan.terjemahan saya cilok dari blog kak yati....baru perasan dah lama buat kek ni...gula tu saya kurangkan jadi 11/2 cup ajer sbb pisang tu dah manis....air saya guna sejuk sbb malas nak masak air....hehehe....sabo je la....pastu saya guna blender untuk bahan2 cecair termasuk pisang...pastu baru satukan dgn adunan tepung. Rasa pisangnya tak dominan sgt dan memang lembab walau pun dimakan sebelum betul2 sejuk.....ok la kalau sesekali nak tukar selera...

Bahan;

Bahan A (bahan kering);

• 3-1/2 cawan tepung gandum
• 1-1/2 cawan serbuk koko
• 3-1/2 cawan gula castor
• 3 sudu teh baking powder
• 3 sudu teh soda bikarbonat
• 1 sudu teh garam halus

* Bahan-bahan kering ini ( kecuali gula dan garam) perlu diayak dan kesemua bahan ini disatukan dalam satu bekas.

Bahan B (bahan basah);

• 4 biji telur gred A
• 1 cawan minyak masak
• 1 cawan susu segar
• 2 cawan air suam
• 2 sudu teh esen vanilla
• 4 cawan pisang masak (lenyek, jangan terlalu hancur.. lagi sedap kalau lebihkan kuantiti)

Bahan C (Frosting Chocolate Ganache);

• 450 g coklat masakan (dipotong kecil-kecil)
• 1-1/2 cawan heavy whipping cream (biasa dijual dalam kotak macam susu kotak)
• 2 sudu besar unsalted butter

Cara Membuat:

Chocolate Banana Cake;

Panaskan oven pada susu 180 darjah C Griskan acuan (10" x 10") dan ketepikan.Dalam bekas besar, satukan semua bahan kering dan gaul sebati, ketepikan dahulu.Dalam bekas lain, pukul sedikit telur (macam nak buat telur dadar jer), masukkan minyak, susu segar, air suam, esen vanilla dan pisang. Gaul hingga kesemuanya sebati.Curahkan bahan basah kedalam bahan kering tadi, kacau/gaul hingga rata.Tuangkan adunan kedalam acuan dan bakar selama 50 - 60 minit atau sehingga masak

Frosting Chocolate Ganache;

Coklat masakan diletakkan didalam mangkuk yang tahan panas.Dalam periuk, panaskan whipping cream bersama butter, angkat dari api sebaik sahaja mendidih.Curahkan whipping cream tadi kedalam manggunk yang berisi coklat, kacau hingga coklat hancur dan sebati dengan whipping cream.Biarkan sejuk, dan setelah sejuk, pukul sedikit agar coklat tadi gebu/ fluffy sebelum dituang atas permukaan kek.

Bahan2nya
2 cups  ( 400g) Granulated white sugar
1 3/4 cups ( 245 g) All purpose flour
3/4 cup (75 g) cocoa powder
1  1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1  1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup mashed ripe banana ( about 2 med size bananas)
1 cup (240 ml) warm water
1/2  cup (120 ml) milk
1/2  cup (120 ml) corn oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate Ganache Frosting
8 ounces (227 grams)semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, cut into small pieces
3/4 cup (180 ml) heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon ( 14 g) unsalted butter
Method
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F (180 degrees C) and place rack in the centre of the oven. Butter, or spray with a non stick vege spray, 9 x 13 inch ( 23 x 33 cm ) pan. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl wrisk together the sugar, flour, cocoa pwder, baking soda and salt. set aside.
3. In another large bowl, whisk together the eggs, mashed bananas, water, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir, or whisk, until combined. You will notice that the batter is quite thin. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
4. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack. When completely cooled, frost with the Ganache. Ganache: Place the chopped chocolate in a medium sized stainless steel, or heatproof bowl. Set aside. Heat the cream and butter in a medium sized saucepan over medium heat. Bring just boil. Immediately pour the boiling cream over the chocolate and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Stir until smooth. When ganache has completely cooled. beat until soft and fluffy. Then spread the frosting on top of the cake. Can garnish with dried banana chips.
